HOW TO GET STARTED AS A SINGER/PERFORMER OR IN OUR SPECIALITY DIVISION

Step 1. Email us a singing/entertainment resume and many professional photo options to ambers@starstalentstudio.com.

Step 2. Download on our blog our Specialty Template for entertainers and email it to amber@starstalentstudio.com.  Upload this to our website too!

Step 3. If you need a strong photo call Scott Myler at 801-427-1110 he is located in Sandy. View his website at scottmyler.com. You can also call Stars for our photography list that includes Debra MacFarlane at 801- 484-1098, she is located at 1 st. South 654 West in Salt Lake City. Step 4. Call the agency to make sure your digital file is set up correctly after mailing in your materials. Keep us posted on any changes with your phone number or contact info.

Step 5. Put yourself on Stars website at www.starstalentstudio.com and click on Web Sign Up.

Step 6. Always have at least three (3) Press Kits and a copy of your demo (EP’s, demos, and any albums) in your file for auditions or jobs. Keep some in your car for last minute auditions.

Step 7. Email your SET LISTS! SET LIST demonstrates to clients what your “live concert” would consist of, so that they can promote you correctly. A Set List is a list of every song that you can perform for a concert or live event. Set list should be broken down into “genres”. Please list whether the songs on your set list are covers or originals, and list instruments played during your show or event.

Step 8. Email over your Pricing. We need your Entertainer Template to include your normal pricing or range of prices plus your tech-rider (what are your tech requirements). We provide clients with price packages depending on audience, usage, touring, etc.

Step 9. Email us Music Videos and music CD’s, EP’s, Singles to amber@starstalentstudio.com.

Step 10. IF ANY OF THIS IS CONFUSING OR OVERWHELMING, Call Stars at 801-201-5885.

Step 11. If you need to record a demo or need an EP, call Stars for recommendations or email amber@starstalentstudio.com.
